Jay Lemcke

October 9, 1957

Born in Portland, Ore and raised in the state of Washington

Jay is the baby of the Lemcke family with two sisters and a brother all of whom are retired public educators.

May 1981

Graduates from Eastern Washington University (EWU) with a Ba. in Secondary Education with Athletic Training Option

Jay plays 4 yrs of College Football – 2 years at Columbia Basin Junior College and 2 years at EWU – and spends a 3rd year at EWU as the Head Student Athletic Trainer for all sports, while also Student Teaching 7th-8th grades.

June 1981

Jay is accepted to the Physical Therapy Program at the University of Pittsburgh and begins classes

August 13, 1983

Jay meets his wife Patty in PT school and gets married

1984

Jay completes his Master of Science degree in the Orthopedic Program at PITT

December 1985

Jay and Patty’s first daughter Lynn Ann is born

April 22, 1986

Jay and a partner found Eagle Physical Therapy

October 1986

Eagle’s first outpatient clinic is opened in Zelienople

1989 through 2006

Eagle supplies Athletic Training Service to Seneca Valley H.S

April 30, 1988

Jay’s 2nd daughter Jennifer Rose is born

April 1988

Eagle has grown to 3 outpatient offices and performs Homecare services in 4 counties

Spring 1987

Jay launches Spring Flings, annual outdoor gatherings for Eagle employees and their family and friends

1990

The Robinson township office is opened

May 1992

Jay becomes an Orthopedic Certified Specialist by the ABPTS

1993

Jay hires Patty’s Dad, a businessman with International experience, to be his Vice President

Because Eagle is growing so fast and Jay would not quit personally treating patients he needs help running the business.

Mid 1994

Eagle opens two more locations for a total of 7 (Butler and Wexford)

1994

Jay is named Entrepreneur of the Year in Healthcare in the Tri-State Area by Ernst & Young

1995

Eagle expands, opening an office in Baden, making the total 8

1997

Jay sells Eagle Physical Therapy

He works for Company he sold to until 2003 when they are sold.

2003

Jay leaves and starts Panther Physical Therapy with a partner and opens 4 offices in 4 months – Zelie, Allison Park, Butler, and Wexford

September 2011

Jay and his partner sell Panther

October 3, 2014

Jay separates from Panther and new company

September 2015

Jay becomes a Certified Wellness Coach

April 2016

Jay and his team open his final business venture Breakout Advisors & Rehabilitation

March 2017

Jay received his advanced training course to become a Master Certified Wellness Coach
